In the Burning Bush Manifesto (BBM), I publish weekly essays examining the relationship between stories and reality.
As a subscriber, you will:
Join my exploration of the modern meanings of an ancient metaphor.
Deepen your understanding of the matrix of falsehoods obstructing your journey to the Promised Land.
Continually summon the courage and clarity of vision to confront all your Pharaohs and demand: “Let my people go!”
Organized around seven areas of interest, BBM re-examines the maps of meaning whose obsolescence and outright corruption account for Pharaoh's continued grip on power.
This project got its name from the biblical Exodus story, and it draws inspiration from liberation narratives woven through all mythopoetic traditions. However, through BBM, I am pursuing a fundamentally forensic mission: to expose “cartographic malpractice” and mitigate its consequences. BBM is rooted in myth and metaphor, but it branches into real-world struggles against pseudo-solutions to misdiagnosed problems.
